GSM is grams per square metre: the weight of the knit, and the single number that separates a T-shirt you keep from one you replace. A high-street tee is typically 150–180 GSM. Everything Fair starts at 280 and runs to 320 on the heavyweight cuts.

Weight is what gives a shirt structure. At 280 GSM the fabric hangs instead of clinging, the shoulder seam stays where it was cut, and the body does not twist on the third wash. It is also why these take a little longer to dry.

Oversized is a cut, not a size up. The shoulder is dropped deliberately, the body is straight rather than tapered, and the sleeve sits wider and shorter than a regular fit. Taking your normal size gives the intended silhouette.

Size up only if you want the body noticeably looser — it will lengthen the sleeve and drop the shoulder further down the arm. Every piece is graded so the proportion holds from S to XXL rather than simply scaling.

Combing removes the short fibres before spinning, leaving only long staples aligned in the same direction. The yarn is stronger, the surface is smoother, and it pills far less at the collar and underarm.

Each run is cut and sewn in Bangladesh in limited quantity. When a size is gone it is genuinely gone until the next run, which is what keeps the quality consistent rather than the stock deep.

Cold wash, inside out, and dry flat in shade. Heavyweight cotton holds water, so tumble drying is the fastest way to shrink a shoulder line that was cut to sit precisely. Skip fabric softener — it coats the fibre and dulls the surface combing gave it.

Printed pieces should be washed inside out and never ironed directly on the print.
